stan culture and social justice should not have overlapped. that was a mistake.

What does this mean

I’m saying that social justice within stan culture has become a means to one-up other fans/celebrities. How ‘unproblematic’ their fav is has become something to gloat about when they’ve tired of talking about charts. No one cares. They just care if their fav cares.
